Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue - Titanium Ranger: Curse of the Cobra [VHS]

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue - Titanium Ranger: Curse of the Cobra [VHS] Review

Titanium Ranger, Curse of the Cobra, a feature-length item from the Power Rangers franchise, is from the Lightspeed Rescue series--just keeping up with the ever-changing nature of the group and its membership is a full-time job these days--and sees the super-powered teens and their whizzy technology operating from an offshore underwater base. In this story, the Titanium Ranger is cursed with a mystical cobra tattoo that grows every time he uses his powers. Unfortunately, the tattoo also weakens him each time, meaning that the group can no longer rely on their most powerful member. Typical Power Rangers stuff, in other words, which fans are sure to enjoy. Adults, meanwhile, can at least chuckle at the male Rangers' dodgy civvies dress sense, making them resemble a group of Village People-teenage sidekicks. While there are still the obligatory men in rubber suits, the special effects used here are pretty impressive, and the show opens with a strong and quite scary Halloween-esque storyline. --Roger Thomas, Amazon.co.uk

Vintage Horror Classics - Frankenstein (Frankenstein movies) (2 Disc Set)

Vintage Horror Classics - Frankenstein (Frankenstein movies) (2 Disc Set) Review

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein Documentary
The name Frankenstein is well known all over the world, as images of a large, sunken-eyed monster with a bolt through the neck springs menacingly to mind. However there's more to this tale of classic horror than you might have at first realised. The monster is not Frankenstein at all, the apparition has no name, but is in point of fact the creation of a mad doctor, the eponymous hero of the book, therefore making it Frankenstein's monster. Also the author of this great gothic novel had a life story that proved without doubt that fact, on occasion, could truly be stranger than fiction. To find out more, take a journey of discovery into the mind of Mary Shelley, the remarkable young English woman who imagined both Dr Victor Frankenstein and his monster into being. Visit early 19th Century London, when Regency style dominated, to see for yourself the places that shaped Mary Shelley and meet the people who influenced her. From the mad, bad and dangerous to know Lord Byron, to her husband the great romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. Follow in her dainty footsteps into the dark recesses of a nightmare world for the ultimate
Frankenstein experience.

Jesse James meets Frankenstein's daughter

The apple not falling far from the tree, Maria soon attempts to experiment on the muscular yet slow friend of Jesse's, ultimately transforming him into a frightening monster.

Lady Frankenstein
Frankenstein's daughter, having inherited the same desire to test the limits of science from her notorious father, falls in love with her father's assistant, Marshall. Desiring a more handsome body and wishing to extend the older Marshall's life, she convinces him to help her transplant his brain into the muscular body of a slow-witted servant. Havoc ensues in this wonderful
horror classic.
